About Us

Rapidnet Broadband  was established in 2013 originally as the Consumer Broadband focused entity of MobileTorque. We have continued to leverage off of the MobileTorque network and have focused on expanding our product offering to diversify offering to not just connectivity. In 2020 we started to roll out a few FTTH networks primarily in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

As of the end of 2023 we focused on a large push towards expanding our product spectrum by adding Telephony Services, Hosting, Network Security, and expanding our connectivity options beyond our traditional wireless focused coverage.

Our Focus is now to pivot from a Connectivity Business to an End to End Provider while still adding more niches in time that will not only help power businesses and consumers in South Africa by offering competitive price points and centralised control of services and products. Allowing our customers to focus on their business and simplify their technology and infrastructure needs.
